Born and raised in Sonoma County, I eventually moved to Davis, CA, where I was awarded a B. S. in biology from UC Davis. For almost four-and-a-half years after graduation, I worked as a microbiologist for the state of Washington. At the same time, and until recently, I also practiced therapeutic massage. Currently my husband, young son, and I live with our two cats, Oliver and Willow, in Agoura Hills. You can see a photo of Oliver below. He was my bottle baby. I fostered him from the time he was three weeks old, and he has stayed with us since. Without Willow and Oliver, our home would feel like there are some pieces missing.
As long as I can remember, I have had a very strong connection with animals. I was raised with cats and dogs and, having owned and operated a pet sitting business while living in Boise, I have extensive experience working with unique animals. These include rabbits, mice, rats, lizards, ferrets, fish, and birds. All of them I find wonderful on their own terms. I love to interact with all different species.
Because I missed pet sitting after having moved back to California, I decided to start again, though focusing on cats and the other types of animals I mentioned above. In addition, I also do mid-day dog walking. Please see my services page for additional information. I really looking forward to meeting all of you and caring for your kitties and other critters.
